RFID Arch
Introduction
The RFID arch is a hardware device that is used to read all passing items on a conveyor belt, and forward the read items to the Nedap Harmony platform. There are two versions of the RFID Arch available:
- With infra-red beam sensors: This version of the arch distinguishes individual packages from each other using the input from the sensors, and a software algorithm.
- Without sensors: This version just reads all passing items, without any physical grouping between them.
Indicator lights
The arch comes with two indicator lights:
- Green: The light is enabled when the RFID reader is enabled and reading RFID tags.
- Blue: The light is enabled when the device is connected to the Nedap Harmony cloud platform.
Operator instructions
The RFID arch is not equipped with a user-interface (no screen and no buttons).
When one of the indicator lights is off, please follow the steps in 'Troubleshooting'.
